a bit of background

I’ve been the Editorial Director of a London magazine and marketing agency, the editor of 40+ customer, employee and b2b magazines and newsletters, a stylist and writer on a national women’s magazine, a national newspaper feature writer, a marketing copywriter and an award-winning* publishing entrepreneur.

I set up a publishing company to bring the editorial standards and vision of newsstand titles to customer magazines. While it was exciting and successful and I learnt a lot about managing and building a business and developing and implementing marketing strategies, the draw of creativity eventually won out. I returned to my writing roots, bringing my commercial and communications experience with me.

* TSB/Options magazine national Women Mean Business Awards winner for the success of The Publishing Team, which produced magazines for clients such as News International/The Times on Saturday, Barclays Bank, Holland & Barrett, The Burton Group, Hamleys and NatWest.

what clients say

Tiphanie is not only a talented, intelligent and engaging writer, her entrepreneurial and marketing background means she brings a deep understanding and strategic insight to her clients' communications objectives.

The key thing for me is that Tiphanie understands exactly what our clients want. Projects always run smoothly when she’s involved and her copy is not only first class but right first time.

Our innovation case studies can be highly complex but the story has to be intelligible to the layman. Tiphanie has a talent for extracting the essential and emphasising the human interest. Excellent copy and scrupulous respect for deadlines.

Tiphanie is not only an excellent copywriter, she also understands exactly what we need. We completely trust her to work closely with our clients and develop high quality, engaging copy. I would definitely recommend Tiphanie - in fact I already have on several occasions!

Working with Tiphanie is a breath of fresh air. Her efficiency and patience make clients’ expectations easy to meet. She is an absolute pleasure to work with.

Tiphanie works superbly with the communications team across Europe to research and write news and features for our intranet site, delivering interesting, well-crafted copy which also supports our strategic objectives.

You'd expect good writing skills from someone at Tiphanie's level but she provides much more than that and her calm and assured approach means she gains clients' trust very quickly.

Tiphanie's ideas, creativity and experience have been invaluable in developing InnovationAdvantage magazine. The quality of her writing and her ability to meet strict deadlines make it all stress free.
